Privacy Policy

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account & Organization Data: names, work emails, company names, roles, and authentication credentials (stored as salted hashes).
• Operational Data: carrier, broker, load, lead, task, and financial records you enter into the platform.
• Integration Credentials: third-party API keys (e.g., Twilio, DocuSign) which are encrypted at rest.
• Usage & Log Data: IP addresses, login history, audit events, and activity timestamps used for security and monitoring.
• Payment Data: processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

We use information to provide, maintain, and secure the service; process subscriptions and billing; enable BYOK integrations; deliver transactional emails; enforce tenant isolation and access controls; and comply with legal obligations.

The platform enforces application-layer, organization-level data isolation so that one tenant cannot access another tenant's data. Sensitive credentials are encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption. We employ access controls, audit logging, and secure transport (TLS) to protect data.

We share limited data with service providers strictly to operate the platform, including:

• Stripe — subscription payments and billing.
• Twilio — SMS delivery (BYOK; billed to your own account).
• DocuSign — e-signature envelopes (BYOK; on your own account).
• Email/SMTP providers — transactional messages.
• FMCSA SAFER — carrier verification lookups.

We retain Customer Data for the duration of your subscription and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal, tax, and audit obligations. You may request export or deletion of your data as described below.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Administrators can manage user data within the platform. To exercise other rights, contact us at privacy@blackknighttrans.com.

We use browser local storage to maintain authenticated sessions and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Disabling storage may impair functionality such as staying logged in.

Outreach features (including automated SMS via your own Twilio account) must be used in compliance with applicable consent and telecommunications laws. You are responsible for obtaining any required consent from recipients you contact through the platform.

The platform is a business tool not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email, and the effective date above will be revised.
